Pamela Workman returns to her
Alma Mater and enters her second season serving as an Associate Athletic
Trainer for the LSU softball, women’s golf, and drug prevention programs.
Workman, a native of Opelousas,
LA., spent five seasons as Associate Athletic Trainer at the University of
Southern Mississippi. There, she spent
four seasons with the baseball program which included a trip to the 2009
College World Series, and a quartet of NCAA Regional appearances. She also
worked with the football and women’s golf programs during her time with the
Golden Eagles.
Prior
to joining USM’s full time Athletic Training program, she served as a graduate
assistant working extensively with the football program. The Golden Eagles
appeared in back-to-back bowl games and the 2006 Conference USA Championship
Game.
Workman
received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from LSU in 2005. Two years
later, she completed work on her master’s degree in sports management from
Southern Miss.
Workman
is certified and a current member of the National Athletic Trainer’s
Association along with the Southeast Athletic Trainers Association.
